Jason Kelvie
The USA High School Clay Target League is proud to announce the addition Jason Kelvie as the Coach Education and Support Manager!
As the current head coach of one of Minnesota’s largest high school shooting teams, Jason’s vision, passion and guidance have lead his team to a number of state championships in both trap and skeet shooting. Now, he will capitalize on his passion for teaching to share this knowledge to lead and assist other coaches in all aspects of establishing, growing and developing their own teams.
Relying on his experience and training as a certified MN DNR firearms safety instructor; certified NRA shotgun, rifle, and pistol instructor; and certified NRA/ATA Shotgun Coach Level 2, Jason’s duties will include operating and maintaining the league certification program for Coaches, RSOs, and Athletes, as well as provide a quarterly column in the League’s official magazine – PullUSA.
By guiding and directing all coaches training, clinics, and workshops for the league, Jason will instill League coaching and athlete training programs with his unique insights and ability to make learning fun while maintaining the highest level of safety. Jason is excited to continue to spread his passion for sharing shooting sports with today’s youth while ensuring that the highest level of integrity in coaching is offered to all youth involved in the league.
A dedicated father of three young children, Jason looks forward to the day when his kids will join the ranks of athletes shooting in the USA Clay Target League.
